What’s new in DacEasy 2010?

 

The DacEasy 2010 release provides you with the most commonly requested product enhancements.  It reintroduces the Job Cost module to allow DacEasy version 12 and earlier to upgrade to the current release.  DacEasy 2010 also includes the return of credit card  processing and the introduction of debit card processing in Order Entry and Point of Sale.  It will also provide you with more flexible cash management and reconciliation tools, simplified sales processes and fast access to historical sales and quote data to improve customer service, better business tracking and reporting, and more flexible and reliable business processes.

Does DacEasy 2010 work with Windows Vista® and Internet Explorer 7?

Yes, DacEasy 2010 works with Windows Vista® Business and Internet Explorer 7.

 

Does DacEasy 2010 convert the data from the Job Manager module available with DacEasy v12 and earlier?

The Job Cost module provided with DacEasy 2010 is an upgrade to the Job Manager provided with DacEasy v12 and earlier. The DacEasy 2010 Job Cost module includes a data conversion process that will convert all of your DacEasy v12 data.

When I install DacEasy 2010, can I reprint the payroll tax reports for quarters closed while using DacEasy v15 and earlier?

No, the reprint quarterly payroll reports feature is limited to quarterly payroll tax reports that were printed with DacEasy v16 and later

 

My organization uses multiple DacEasy modules from a previous version. Can I upgrade just one or only a few of these modules to DacEasy 2010?

No, DacEasy requires that all modules running in your environment be the same version. Attempting to run DacEasy modules from different versions in the same environment will result in unexpected results and may result in data loss.

 

DacEasy 2010 includes credit card and debit card processing in Order Entry and Point of Sale. Can I use my existing merchant account with these modules to process credit cards and debit cards?

To process credit cards and debit cards with DacEasy 2010 Order Entry and Point of Sale, you must obtain a merchant account from Sage Payment Solutions. DacEasy 2010 does not support merchant accounts from other vendors.

 

What if I need support with my DacEasy installation?

 

All customers receive 30 days of free customer support upon registration of either new product or upgrade version.
